The fameless author Sakai has written a masterpiece, but soon after a very similar book is published. This very book was written by a best-selling author and sells well. Sakai is framed as a plagiarist and thus loses his prospect of becoming a successful author. Later, he faces a horse-faced demon in his dreams whose name is Karma. "I’ll kill him if you give me the things important to you.” After the demon shows him numerous visions of the best-selling author’s death, said author actually dies on the next day – all while Sakai’s beloved daughter also vanishes. Sakai can’t flee from the evil in his house.
