A young half Japanese, half Korean man always gets Korean food recommended by his friends. None of the meals tastes satisfactory to him though. The truth is, he’s looking for something else. Takashi Koshika, who studied in Korea, created with Memories of my Mother a beautiful short film about food and the desire for a familiar taste. The mixture of beautiful scenery, a bit of humour and melancholy won multiple prizes in Korea.
