High schooler Hiyori meets at the beach the somewhat strange appearing Karematsu, who collects drift wood. She follows him and finds out that he's an artist and uses the wood for his work. A friendship develops between both, and Hiyori helps him to complete his last art work. Karematsu is played by Shingo Matsuoka, who attended last year's JFHH to present his film Alley.
