Kenji kills himself because in his opinion he is responsible for the death of hundrets of people.
On the other side God offers him to become his successor. As first, Kenji refuses this offer, but then he reads the last Message on his Handy, which he got from the world of the living people. It says that his pregnant puppy love has cancer and is going to die even before the child gets born.
But as Kenji is now willing to be Gods successor, God already found two other guys for this job.
Now these three guys have to fight to see who is worthy the power.
