Tanaka, who’s a journalist, decides to write a report on a murder case which happened a year ago. A successful office worker, his spouse and their child were executed by an unknown suspect. The case remained unsolved. With investigative accuracy Tanaka removes the layers of the past one by one until the complex ornament of a tragic truth is revealed. Early on, the first investigations reveal that the victim had more to hide than was assumed before.
